If you don't have steering wheel controls you turn the key to on and pump gas pedal 6 times. If you have steering wheel controls its in the dic.

Could just be a burned out bulb if the tranny is going into tow/haul mode. check the wire at the bottom of the shift lever all the way to the connector you will have to pull out the rubber gromet at the bottom of the lever. these wires brake often. No, it does not feel like it is going into T/H mode.
